The Product
Northstar Cloud is a fictional account administration product. Its documented features include user invitations, roles, teams, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, notifications, and activity reports. There is no working Northstar application behind this site.
Purpose and Scope
This project brings twelve guides together in a browsable knowledge base. It provides a sample of task-based documentation, permissions reference material, troubleshooting guidance, and release notes, built around a shared product specification.
Eliza’s Role
Eliza has made formatting and organizational edits to the documentation and revised the wording for clarity, consistency, and style. Her editorial work shapes how the information is presented and how readers move through the guides.
For a real product, her review would also include confirming technical accuracy with subject matter experts, checking procedures against the application, and ensuring the guidance applies to the intended users and their tasks.
Use of AI
AI assisted with the fictional product specification, initial documentation drafts, interface illustrations, document production, and website implementation. This is a working portfolio edition for editorial review. The procedures have not been tested against an implemented application.
