Important Notes
- Each account belongs to one organization and has one role: Owner, Administrator, or Member. Roles determine permissions. Teams group people without changing their access.
- Owners configure organization and authentication settings. Owners and Administrators manage users, teams, and activity reports. Members manage their own profile, security, and notification preferences and view their team memberships.
- Northstar does not provision accounts in other applications. Its single sign-on connection is its only integration. Bulk imports, custom roles, nested teams, and scheduled reports are outside version 1.0.
- These guides assume your organization already exists. Start with Set Up Your Organization if you are its first Owner. The separate AI documentation triage project is not part of Northstar Cloud.
